OMNIGUARD effectively binds all kinds of mycotoxins and thus renders them innoxious. In this fixed state it is impossible for the toxin to be resorbed from the animal's intestines into its body and to perform its damaging effects. It simply leaves the body after the intestinal passage. Raw material for the production of OMNIGUARD is a selected aluminosilicate, named Organic Montmorillonite. The special adsorption capability for the various mycotoxins is achieved by a partial modification of its mineral surface. As a result of this surface modification, it is possible to improve the selectivity of the adsorptive binding decisively as well as the binding stability.
